Still cycling my LR and the Ammonia is finally at 0, but the nitrites are at 5. Is that normal for the Ammonia to drop first? Thanks for any help!

Yep. First you build your ammonia eating colony of bacteria, then a colony of nitrite eating bacteria will grow. Then both ammonia and nitrite should be 0 and nitrate levels will begin to rise.
That's when you know the cycle is complete.

You may want add some ammonia to keep the ammonia fed bacteria alive.

Would you want to do PWC during the cycling or wait till the ammonia levels drop?

Thanks all! I was going to to a large PWC of 35 G when nitrites hit 0. Then I'll be getting some snails and my first fish!! (Bi-color blennie)
