wet/dry filter for 150 g

I have a 150 gallon salt water fish tank that I am setting up. I am setting up a wet dry system for it but don't know what kinda submersible pump I should use, I've got two Rio+ 1700. Is that enough? It's going to be mostly fish. & if not what's recommended, I don't wanna spend $200 dollars on just a pump. Please help!

You only need 1 pump to return the water to the tank. How high up is the return?

It is about 26 inches from where the pump will be to where the hole for the return.
