Looks expensive to me!!!!! You can get 5 gallons of ro/di for 2.50 and a bag of salt for 10 (75 gallons of treating). Don't know what benefits over the salt it would have. PLus shipping on that is 15!!!!!!! so 25 bucks for 5 gallons!!! not worth it to me!!!!!

i laughed when i first saw it in the store. but then i thought if you had a nano reef, it sure would be convenient.

i honestly have considered driving to the beach and filling a large sistern in the back of a pickup and bringing it home. it would be enough sea water for a whole year or more...

it would obviously need to be filtered first.

a friend of mine had an aquarium business in fla. and he used natural sea water. he drove a van with a large tank and pump and hose. when he did water changes at a home or store he would just drag the hose from his van and pump it into the tank.
