What is this

hello,

I am wondering what this stuff is and is it a good sign? My tank is cycling and I had the ammonia spike and now i am in a nitrite spike but my natrates are also high. What's that mean? Water change?Click image for larger version

Keep your lights off all the time. Dark stuff might be algae. Don't water change until cycle is over or you'll just slow it down. First pic looks like some sponge. Nothing to worry about.
