What skimmer to use for a 100 gallon reef tank

Hi everyone I'm new to AA and I want to get into saltwater aquariums and I need to know what skimmer to use on a 100 gallon tank with a sump system

I have a reef octo BH-1000 and love it. It's a HOB tho, so I can't really let you know about it's sump
performance... Very good quality skimmers tho

What size would you recommend for 100gallon the 6" needle pin wheel for $199 recommended for 150 gallons or the 8" needle pin wheel for $279 its recommended for 250 gallon tanks

Is their a rule for skimmer like you need at least 2x your tank size skimmer or is that just with filters

My BH1000 is rated for 100 gallons, my tank is 55
