Some people don't like like them because they don't glow under the blue lights, but they grow very fast. I personally like them

What kind of flow do they like? And if it gets too big can I trim it?

They like a good about of flow. And yes you can cut it with a razor. Just be careful because any piece you cut off will grow into it's own tree if left in the tank. Kenya tree will also chop branches of itself off so keep a look out for that too
