What size is your tank and what livestock do you already have, or are planning for?

What kind of snails do you have? Turbo snails are bulldozers but great at algae control.

To be honest I would discourage buying livestock to take care of algea. I would find out what`s fueling it and cut it off. Read this checklist and find the fuel factor.
