What's the temperature?

Once again it's me, i have a very silly question, I just got done filling the tank and am not sure what the temp of the water should be, can anyone enlighten me? It's a new 120 FOWLR setup, The water temp out of the tap was 60 degrees, i set my heaters to 79 degrees ( my freshwater temp). I want to bring the water up to temp before adding the salt.

I keep mine 78 to 82 F

Thanx, so i should be good at 79. Right now up to 67 from 60, those new heaters work well.

Yup... 78-80 is my target. Don't trust the settings on the heaters though - make sure you have one, maybe two thermometers in the tank to verify actual water temp.

I have 2 thermometers and 2 400 watt heaters.

Better yet, buy a controller (Ranco/Aqualogic). I keep my temps anywhere between 80-84F.
