Which light is brighter, compact fluorescent or VHO?

they are the same intensities i think, but the difference is it takes less bulbs of power compact to achieve the same wattage with vho, so i guess its depends on room and amount fo bulbs yuou wanna buy/have, i am pretty sure thats the only difference

They are about the same. Power compacts might look brighter because they are usually a slightly smaller bulb with same output, so it's concentrated. VHO has been around much longer than PC.
