White worms

The last few days some small white worms have started to show up in my tank. I have heard people talk about them. Are they a bad thing? Or are they one of those things that won't ruin your tank but some people just don't like them and pick them out?

If you see my other thread, I do have a phosphate issue right now that should clear up with phosguard soon. Will these worms go away when the phosphates drop?

No, they won't go away when your phosphate drops. They are generally harmless tube worms.

What kind of white worms are we talking about? Flatworms cruising the glass? If so, they will disappear as fast as they came and are not a problem.
