Would love advice-new to SW

I already have a FW tank with African cichlids. However, I have always wanted a SW tank. I pretty much know nothing so I warmly welcome any advice =) I should be getting my tank this weekend. I am currently trying to figure out what all I need in regards to equipment and which is the best for my situation as well as simpler things like what kind of sand or live rock to get.

A lot of research. First thing is what size tank do you need and what type of setup do you want. Fish only or a reef setup.
