Would this be a good choice for my reef tank?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

If it is for a reef...I recommend only using a sump and/or refugium (a glass tank is usually cheaper than a wet/dry system), and allowing the rock and sand to preform nitrification and denitrification.

isn't this a sump? Sorry, I am still learning and don't really have a firm grasp of all the equipment yet.
