10 gallon tank opinions

Hey everyone. I ve decided I will have a planted 10 gallon chiclid tank. it will have 1 blue ram, 6-8 neon or cardinal tetras, and 3-4 gohst shrimp. What's everyones opinions on that?

I would only do neons as cardinals are larger and stick to a school of 6, other then that you would be good

Ember or ruby red tetras could also work

Skip the ram, they need more space than a 10g. You could instead do a sparkling or honey gourami.

I agree, I have a ram in a 20 gallon and people told me it needed more space, so a 10 gallon is certainly not enough.

I think if you change 40% of water weekly and you should do fine. but it's a little risky, but you could try.
