Day 6 complete on trying to cure my tank of ich. I'm doing the natural method every 2 days, Prime, salt, PWC, air-stone, water level lowered, temp up at 86 degrees (gradual increase), gravel vacuum. My Nitrites, Ammonia are at 0.00 btw. At first one of my Silver Dollars had a few spots of Ich. I started the natural cure method right away, so far the Silver Dollar is good. I hear they are susceptible to Ich, once cured they seem to do ok. So far it looks Ich free, active, and seem happy. However, during the cure process I lost a Pristella Tetra, one Green Tiger Barb, now another Green Tiger Barb is breathing rapidly, and the only sign of Ich is on a Argentus Mono (very small spot on back fin). Am I missing something? Are some species of fish not use to high temps? Do I need to continue waiting and ride it out?
