2 gallon stocking

I know a two gallon is VERY small and I won't have many options but I just wanted it as a pretty display tank.
I was thinking some shrimp because I want it to look really green and then have bright red or something that contrasts.
Any suggestions?

You're right. Shrimp would be your best bet. I would do some red cherry shrimp or some ghost shrimp. Cherry shrimp look much more colorful, but ghost shrimp are much cheaper. And, some people have had troubles finding cherry shrimp, while ghost shrimp are more common in pet stores. It's really up to you.

I like the sound of cherry shrimp my lfs has heaps of them. How many could I have in my tank?

I would say about 3-4.

I know this may not be the best place to ask but my little cousin has some tadpoles that she doesn't want. I was going to buy another tank but now I think they could go in there until they grow ad I will upgrade them?

I wouldn't. Especially if there are multiple tadpoles. I put one in my 5 gallon once and I don't think it had enough room.
