I have 2 pygmy Cory catfish and I know they are community fish but are there was particular fish that they are not compatible with?

Larger cichlids, crayfish and other cat fish. (Other corys are fine)

You really need to keep corys in groups of no less tha four. In a 20L you can easily up that to 6-8, 20H 6.
