20 gallon stocking idea? Yay or Nay?

I really want a dwarf gourami as my center piece fish so, i was thinking something like this.

-1 dwarf gourami
-6 neon tetra
-6 harlequin rasbora
-2 cory cats

Too much or is it okay?

Sounds good, the schooling fish are small enough in size for a 20gal. The Cory cats may also need a 1-2 more ... maybe ... they are also schooling fish.

They are emerald green cory cats i hear they get 3 inches. I already have them in my 5 gallon and I really want to move them over to the 20 gallon. I hear I shouldnt even really put them in the 20 gallon because they get 3" :/ should i get smaller ones with them or just stick to the 2?

I've had bronze cories. I think they get 2". Anyway I've kept them for 2 years and they'd fit in a 20g. Their tough, cool little fish.
