20g Long Planted Aquarium Project

My husband brought home a 20Long this morning. One of his customers has been driving around with this in his car waiting to see my husband, which he did last, since hubby is working 3rd shift this week. Seeing I already have so little to do since its spring time(sarcastically said), I'm going to work on this myself and see if I can do everything DiY. Wish me luck!

How hard would it be to replace the top molding?

It was used for a reptile of some sort. It does hold water, hubby filled it when he got home, and it was still holding with no apparent leaks 6hrs. later.
