26 gallon help

i just got a new 26 gallon tank ( my first) and I am wondering if the aquaclear 30 filter and visitherm 100 watt heater I ordered are enough for my tank.

Heater should be ok. I would get an AC 50 though. A little extra filtration never hurts. I have an AC 50 on my 29, does a great job.

yep! I agree! I have a 40 power filter, and a 15 power filter on my 29! they recomend you have about 2x the size of your tank....

hey, big guy, why the long face? I think the point is, you can't really over-filter, but you can underfilter if you don't whatch your boi-load. don't stock your tank heavily, and you should be fine. But, if you get a chance to get a bigger filter, jump on it. It will make your fish and you happier!

We have made it a family tradition to "over" filter. You may spend a little more up front, but it will pay in the long run!
