29g reccomendations

Hey, I've had tanks before. Came to college so I stopped for a couple o' years. I gotta buy a new tank, since I gave my old 2 tanks to family.

Im going to buy a 29 gallon. I was thinking of putting a bala shark, a rainbow shark, and 4 or 5 glass cats. (maybe a cory or 2?)

What do you all think? What about adding some live plants? Ive had fresh and saltwater before, but never live planted. I am a college student, so I want to stay on the economical side.

Don't add two sharks in the same tank, esp since the bala will outgrow the 29 quite quickly and the rainbow shark can get rather aggressive to other sharks. Live plants are good. Glass cats and cories are fine.

You might want to consider some of the dwarf cichlids like apistogramma or rams.
