Hi all! I got some pictures!! So I have a few questions
1- if my heater is in the corned, will it do its job ok?
2- if my air pump cord is slightly touching the heater, is it ok? ALSo, I want to add some tall fake plants to hide the cords, if they ouch the heater, is that ok? And if they you the filter is it ok?
3- what is the best test kit and how much? I
4- if the thermometer looks like it does in he pic, does it mean 80? And is that ok?
Tank specs

30 lbs of caribasea naturals substrate
2x medium lava rocks
1x burried terra cotta pot
Marineland 200b penguin filter
200w heater
Marineland led kit lights
Day one of fishless cycle-
Added 5ml of ammonia from ace hardware, 35 ml of API stress coat and 17 ml of stress Zyme

Also, if the water level touché the center brace, is this ok?

I can't comment about the first few questions, but you should really invest in an in tank mercury thermometer. Much more accurate. You can get them for a couple of bucks on Amazon.
 
Yeah I'll look into that! Can you or anyone help me with water level? If it isn't touching the brace the filter is loud, but when I fill it until the filter is quiet, the center brace is 3/4 submerged. Is it ok for the brace to e underv
