40 Gallon HEX setup... Filter? Heater?
Was looking at possibly purchasing an Oceanic 40 Gallon HEX. Was looking for filter suggestions. Looks like an Eheim 2217 or Rena XP3 would be good for me... anyone disagree or have other suggestion?
What about a heater? Which type/brand? Thanks! |

An XP3 might have too much flow. An XP2 might be better.

I would suggest the Rena Filstar xP2 along with the Hydor ETH 201 inline tank heater. I really like my Filstar xP1 and ETH 201 on my 30 gallon tank and wouldn't dream of changing them.
