I am looking to do a 40 gallon breeder tank with low light live plants. Here is my stock list.

3 x Platy (xiphophorus maculatus)
3 x Guppy (Poecilia reticulate)
1 x Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare)
1 x Dwarf Gourami (Colisa lalia)
6 x Albino Cory (Corydoras aeneus)

Any suggestions? Tips? Complaints? I am doing sand as my substrate.

Should work. Sometimes angels and gouramis can go after one another, sometimes they're fine. It'll depend on the personality of the fish you get, so just keep an eye on them. Looks good though.

You could do a nice school of fish too, maybe like 10 cardinal, rummynose or lemon tetra.

Just my opinion, but you could do a school of 10ish tetras and ditch the guppies or platies. The platies and guppies will breed a lot, but either way your stock will be fine.
