55 gallon LED light hood

I bought two marineland hoods to put on my new 55 gallon and they didn't fit? does anyone know a cheap diy light hood? Or just a canopy and I can but the light bar to go over top.
 
Since it sounds like your 55 is divided into 2 sections you'll need two 24x12 hoods. You could get 2 of the 24 inch ones like the one on this page. Aquarium Hoods & Canopies: Aqueon Versa-Tops You can also find them at Petsmart. I would stay away from the Marineland LED hoods. If it's not divided into 2 sections and your tank looks like it would only fit one canopy or hood all the way across you would need one 48 inch hood or canopy.

I had two 24" ones but I has to replace the black trim on my tank so I'm just going to make a custom hood. Thanks for the help though!
