Is a 55 gallon heavy enough that you have to worry about where you put it?

you should place it on a stand that was designed specifically for aquariums.

Single level home...so no worries there. I am considering putting it in my dining room so it would be close to an outside wall. But it would also run parallel with the floor joices ( not sure if that is spelled right) I just want to avoid the floor sagging and my wife nagging...
