Good looking fish! Are you planning on keeping the tank bottom bare? Jw

No once the discus grow out I will plant the 75 but right now bb is where it's at because 4-6 feedings a day and 20-50% pwc a day would get to be a pain especially with frozen beef heart being the last feeding before the wc

Good job, IMO you are on the right track with discus of that size during the growout period. :)

I've tried to grow juvies out in a planted tank before, and it did not work for me. I would not try it again.

Keep us posted on their growth!

Yea I was told by the breeder grow outs should be done in a bb and plant it later now I see why there like gold fish messy lol ok not as bad but they do like eating from the bottom

Ok so here's the little guys there starting to get some color and are growing at a good pace

Thanks I'm enjoying watching them grow can't wait for them to be adults

This is prob a dumb question but I know nothing about these....how big will they get? Will they breed?

I'd never even attempt to keep them, I'm just curious now that I've seen them. They are gorgeous fish, congrats!

We they get from 6-8 inchs they select there own mate and pair off so I'm not sure yet if they will breed yet and there is no way to tell males from females they are wonderful fish but take lots of work I'm doing daily 20-50% pwc Until they are adults then it's two 50% pwc a week so there's a little info for you but I suggest you do lots of research if u want them
