I really do hate to annoy you like this... But how much room do you suppose I have?

Honesty, quite a lot IMO. I bet you could add 2 or 3 schools of tetra and a centerpiece like angels or discus if you wanted.

Not a fan of Angels OR discus (yes I'm weird... I'm aware lol) ;)

I would Definitly up the amount of 5 banded barbs to like 15 or so ;) and you could easily do 4 bolivian rams. Also look into keyhole cichlids for a good centerpiece. Extremely peaceful and very elegant

7-8 Five Banded Barbs
1 Rainbow Shark
7-8 Emerald Cory's
3 Snails
2 Red Wag Platy's
2 Painted Platy's
5 Amano Shrimp
2 Bolivian Rams? <-- new question.

FYI ... You may have difficulty finding 5-Banded Barbs. I wanted some for my tank last year and every LFS I checked in my area had trouble getting them. Another option are Black Ruby Barbs ... similar size, stripe patterns but not as fin-nip happy as TB's. The females best resemble TB's ... the males can resemble TB's, but turn an awesome ruby red (head) & Jet black (Body).

I can drive down to my local chain store (Pet supplies "plus") and buy a group of 5 banded right now, however, I have never seen black ruby barbs for sale and I worked at that store as the fish/reptile specialist for almost 5 years...so it really does depend on your area

I wish I could just drive to an LFS and pick them up ... I still check to see ... but no go on those 5 banded barbs ... but I did see rhombo barbs which resemble 5 banded a few month back ... so go figure. BRB's on the other hand I can readily get at two LFS's.

My local PETCO has them constantly. Go figure :)

Can these lights grow low-medium plants?
