I was thinking of getting a bunch of EBJD's and if I end up with a pair or two I could make a good bit of extra cash... (gotta spend a good bit on the fish first).

You might want to research that one a bit also, it's not that simple, hence the large price tag.

I'm not much of a cichlid man full stop I rather the planted look which don't go well with cichlids

And a planted tank would definitely be really cool.

FWIW, I've kept my EBJD in a well planted tank without a problem. Some are plant friendly, some aren't, so you might just have to try and see.

Rummynose tetras- 8?
BN plecos- 3?

Be careful of the plecos for 2 reasons 1 they can get massive I had one that was 19 inches long and 2 they ain't very good for planted tanks

Get the bnp they are awesome! Definitely not too big for a 90! I have 3 soon to be 4 in a 70.
