I was just curious, can you add more fish in the middle of cycling a tank that already has a few fish in it? Or should you wait until its completely cycled?

You should wait till your tanks finished cycling or your levels will rise which can result in losing fish.

Fish In Tank Cycling

Hello lyric...

Your water tests will determine whether or not to add fish to the tank. You must test the tank water every day for ammonia and nitrites and if a test shows a trace of these toxins, then you must remove and replace a minimum of 25 percent of the tank water.

If you have several tests with no trace of either of the toxins, then you can safely add a few, small fish. But, you must resume the daily tests and remove the water when necessary.

You just follow the above steps until the tank is fully stocked.
