Adding more flourite after water is in

I decided to use flourite and grow some plants this time. My 20 in nearly cycled but I've already got the flourite in there. Problem is I don't think it's deep enough. What is the easiest and cleanest way to add more flourite while the water is still in there? Or will I just need to deal with a cloudy tank for a while?

you'll have to deal with cloudy water unless you remove all water and then do it

I have to agree either empty it or deal with a bit of a mess for a while.

yeah, flourite wont come clean... so you're going to have a mess if you dont drain it for sure. Just drain it, add the flourite, then fill it back up.
