Does anyone have any experience with this? I was at Petsmart and got a free sample and was wondering if I should put it to use.

I've never used it, but I'm pretty sure it's like everything else and is only a temporary fix.

That's what I figured. Maybe it'll come in handy somewhere down the line if I get a sudden spike in ammonia.
Are you speaking of API Ammo-Lock water conditioner? If so, it does the job. Works like Prime does to remove Chlorine, Chloramine and temporarily detoxify Ammonia.
It is just less cost effective as you have to use more per gallon, I believe.
