IMO these products aren't consistent. Are you cycling your tank? If you are the best way is to keep doing water changes as much as necessary to keep the ammonia down.

Once the tank is cycled your ammonia reading will be 0 unless something happens to your biological filter or the tank is grossly overstocked.

I'm not sure if or how the ammonia clear tabs would affect the cycling process.

You need to deal with elevated ammonia with water changes, even daily, and wait it out. Anything you do to "remove" the ammonia will likely hamper the cycle and lengthen the time the fish suffer. Ammonia is a very important nutrient for the bacteria you are trying to grow, so you need it in the tank, if that makes sense.

Once your bacteria have grown to adequate numbers the ammonia is still being released by the fish but the bacteria consume it so rapidly that you can't measure it anymore. The same thing happens with another type of bacteria to consume the nitrite until you can't measure it, then your tank is cycled.

Exactly as TG says. The tablets will only impede the cycle that has recently begun. When a once cycled tank goes through this, you need to determine what caused it. It can be something as simple as cleaning your filter too well, or as complex as a violent pH swing. Either of these will kill your bacterial colony. Have you medicated the tank recently?

If you are referring to the product Cycle, it does nothing to cycle your tank faster. It sounds like in reality your tank isn't fully cycled yet, it will be cycled when your ammonia and nitrites are 0ppm and nitrates at at least 10ppm. Keep doing the water changes as advised and your tank will cycle.

ya ima do a water change 2maro and then when it is cycled the nitrites adn ammonia wont go up unless i cause them 2 by adding 2 many fish or something right?

Right, nitrous. You can also cause a cycle (as Brian mentioned) by cleaning the gravel too vigorously, cleaning your filter too thoroughly, changing out large decorations, etc.

For several months after the tank cycles it will be somewhat delicately balanced and you'll need to be careful to protect your bacteria.

You are correct. Once you have finished cycling ammonia and nitrites will stay at zero, unless you add to many fish quickly or something is done to upset your bacterial filtration.
