Ammonia level dropping, but Nitrite 5.0....

I'm almost 4 weeks into cycling my first tank. Two days ago, the nitrite was only .25 and today it was 5.0. Do I do a partial water change now, or will my beta be okay to survive the last part of this?

Having a nitrite spike about a week after the ammonia spike is normal. Do water changes to keep the levels under control. Your almost there
