Hey i recently found this empty cookie jar in my cupboard, so i am deciding to use it to grow aquarium plants only. I also want to spend as little as possible, if not nothing.

My question is, can i inject Co2 (DiY co2), add some lighting (from an old lamp), use small 3mm stone gravels as the base and throw in a few plants and expect some growth??

Also i do have some healthy plants in my main aquarium, is it possible to trim those plants and replant them in my cookie jar plant only aquarium? Will plants grow with 'only' lighting and co2 injection?

Thank you!

Your plan will work, especially at first. With no fish in the system, you will eventually need to add some supplements for nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, and trace elements.
