Hey, i have been planning to get a bigger tank for ages just havnt had the cash. Today i finally bought myself a 240L 4ft tank. i think thats about 64 gal :)
I have thought about keeping South American cichlids in an amozonian type tank with some nice driftwood, a few hardy plants and a few rocks.

My proposed stock is:

2 x gold severums if i can find otherwise green.
a pair of keyhole cichlids
some cories
some tetras
whiptail catfish

there are another 2 options
the first is a lake malawi tank

and the other is a small predator tank
this would have:
wrestling halfbeaks
a leaf fish
some type of bottom level fish
maybe some live bearers to provide a meal
or some barbs

any opinions on what you would keep are welcome
i am open to anything :)

Not sure that tetras will do well with severums. Severums might make a delicious snack out of them if they're small (severums get kinda big). Of course it depends on the size and type of tetras. Heck, some cories might not do superstellar with severums...
