Brown Spots
Hey this doesn't look like normal algae but I could be wrong since algae for some reason has yet to spring up on my tank. But there are little brown dots that have shown up on one fake plant in my aquarium and one of the rock tower thing, along with one of the fake coral looking things.
I don't ever remember this stuff showing up on the aquarium I had a long time ago. Just wanted to make sure this is normal and ask if i just clean it off.

I think its just algae. Clean it off but do so in old tank water so you don't kill the good bacteria. Also, if you keep your lights on less the algae won't grow as much. You really only need the lights on if you are there unless of course you are trying to grow plants.
