CAE owners

so i got mine i few days ago and currently have a 10g i realize that was a huge mistake so im going to upgrade. how big of a tank do you keep yours in? and would you recommend them or should i return him? i love him but will he harm my other fish?

They can get up to a foot long from what I've heard and I think a 55g is recommended. Also be careful what you put with it, I had one with my goldies and one has a scar from where the CAE went for it's body slime. Needless to say, the CAE is no longer around.

They are just not a good community fish, do yourself a favor and return him to the store now. Lots of other cool fish out there that will fit right in.

yeah ive decided to get rid of him. im returning him to the pet store tomorrow. its just better for the other fish. thanks for the advice
