Caribsea instant aquarium moonlight sand

Hey all stalled a bit on my build as I was I was getting so much conflicting advice. It's a 37 gallon tank where I planned to put half Eco complete and half caribsea instant aquarium moonlight sand. These two were supposed to go over an egg crate spanning the entire tank along with some rocks. I was going to divide the tank with Eco on one half and moonlight sand on the other half with rocks dividing both.

Question I have is has anyone used this caribsea instant aquarium moonlight sand? Is it any good? Easy to clean? Is it easily moved around? How has it affected your canister? Does it turn dark brown as some people state? Any other options if you dont recommend this? I just bought some one that says it helps cycle a new tank and all you have to do is dump it in without washing.

Please please some advise please!!?!?!?

I haven't used it so I can't say; I'd be cautious about it cycling a tank though.
