Question in my 35 gallon Hex...

6-8 Neons
4-6 Cory
6-8 Black Tetras

What could I do for a centerpiece? Ram, Angel? Guorami?

You could realistically do any of those three

Agreed but if I had to choose it would be the gourami. An angel could eat smaller fish as it matures and there is already a lot going on near the bottom of the tank with the cories and neons.

I also like gouramis. I have a three spot and he is super cool. He was very shy at first but now he cruises all over the place.
