Chlorine/Chloramine

How much chlorine would warrant a double dose of de-chlorinator? I have a gut feeling my tap water is very, very high in Chlorines.

I checked online and found a water quality test for my city from 2010, which is the latest I could find readily available.

It appears my city's chlorine/chloramine levels are about 2.3 ppm.

Please advise.

That would depend on what dechlorinator you use.

The best advise I can suggest is to find out what concentration of chlorine/chloramine that stuff works on per dose and do the math.
