cleaning trobo shells

hey , I got some trobo shells on line for my new Multi tank and I have a question on how to clean them..

they are soaking in tank water and salt right now..

next step???

a sponge or brush of some sort... just as long as you dont use soap... just curious, why salt?

well you can clean aquaiurm glass with salt and it kind of an abbrasive and it is also innert to the tank.

whatever works... ive not cleaned mine yet, though in the video i just uploaded, you can clearly see that they need it bad
