Would it be advisable to keep a single clown pleco in a 55-litre Aquanano 40 tank along with a single male betta that receives bi-weekly water-changes?
I've been receiving some very conflicting answers to this question from various people, and so I thought I'd ask everyone here for their opinion.
:thanks: in advance.

That depends on the exact Pleco species. "Clown" Pleco can refer to several different fish.
If it's P maccus then they get 3-3.5".

55 litres = 14.5g

That should be ok. 15g is recommended. Just make sure you have driftwood and expect the fish to hide a lot. They eat wood and can be shy.

Is it this species ?

Heated and filtered you should be ok with once a week PWCs. Just test your water.
