Aquarium Advice Newbie
Two of my tanks (25g's) were gifts from my neighbor who was giving up the hobby. So that means:
2 tanks
2 stands
2 Emperor filters
All the gravel I could desire
Heaters
Driftwood

Total cost: about $265
A tip on cutting costs is to check craigslist for hoods, lights, plants, unused filters and unused heaters, and stands. You want to make sure it is all clean of course, but you can really save.
