Cycle Questions... do these water parameters make sense?
Hi, guys. I added biospira a week ago to my already cycling tank (20 [acronym:52d25dd1c1="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:52d25dd1c1] 4 serpae teras 8 neon tetras) I did a test and I had nearly 0 ammonia but over 1ppm or nitrites... does this make any sense? does it means my cycle is almost complete?

well the cycle usually has an ammonia spike(you probably already did that) and a nitrite spike that is happening now and i think you should do a water change to get the nitrites down and then once you have 0 on ammonia and nitrite then your cycled
if im wrong someone correct me please

It could have been a bad batch of Spira. What were your parameters before adding it?
