Well i finally got a test kit today and my ammonia spike in my 10G is UP! Looks to be between 2-4ppm 0 nitrite and 0 nitrate. Normal? Its been close to a week.

Yep thats normal, then it will start to come down and you will see the nitrItes spike and then nitrAtes will come up. Then water change and fish!

And depending on the light you have get a low light plant and it will help with the nitrates a bit
