Hi

I've just finished fishless cycling my tank over the last several weeks with pure ammonia, and have been waiting a few days to make sure my tests are staying consistent before I add fish. I have been adding pure ammonia to my tank every day or two while cycling, and it has worked well for me so far.

I don't want to add fish yet since I will be gone for about five days over the Easter break. I'm also concerned about losing some bacteria without an ammonia source while I'm gone.

Has anybody done something similar before and what have your results been?

I guess I could add that I'm not completely unstocked, I do have a few snails that showed up on some of the plants. Not enough to produce I'm guessing though. Tough to get a count due to how small they are, but I'm guessing less that 15 or so, and all less than 7mm (1/4")
