I decided i'm gonna try to keep another green spotted puffer. This time i want to make sure everything is right. For cycling i'm gonna use that Cycle thing from Nutrfin. How many weeks before i can add a puffer? Should i keep the filter on all the time while i put the Cycle in there?

Ok, how would i go about cycling with that stuff? What else should i need to put in the water? Fish flakes?

There is a product out there called Bio-Spira that will cycle a tank immediatly. It can be hard to find. To cycle fishlessly, if you can't find Bio-Spira you need a source of ammonia. Pure ammonia works best. Ace hardware sells a janitorial strength which is detergent free. You could also use fish food or a raw shrimp, that can get kind of smelly but it does work.

Read these two articles it will help explain it. Don't worry about the saltwater part it works in fresh as well.
