Yep, continue to monitor your tank for atleast the next week or two and for a week after adding any new inhabitants. As long as your tank stays stable, you should be fine for some shrimp this weekend (sun would be better).

oh okay. well i am also planning on doing a water change tomorrow. would that still be okay before i add the shrimp?

Yep, no problem. Shrimp have almost no bioload so they shouldn't affect your parameters but it's good to keep an eye on things to make sure everything stays stable.

well i was told not to put shrimp in yet bc bamboo shrimps don't thrive in a new established tanks .
