Caught it maybe 15 min after. Fish alive in bucket with clean water. Tank is wrecked. Besides 100% water and a scrub what should I do?
Daughter dumped whole bottle of fingernail polish in tank.

Woah. That's unfortunate.
How much did the polish mix with the water? Do you think it got into the filter, or that fumes got in there?

Sorry to hear about that.
15 mins? Do the necessary and check tomorrow for ammo readings. Possibility is, the BB colony may be wiped clean.

Running carbon may remove any left over after water changes as well.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. Do you have a quarantine tank that could function as a home for a month or so?
Agreed about the BB. After you've scrubbed your tank, you'll probably need to re-cycle. Get a piece of filter media from somebody or some Dr. Tim's to speed up the process.
