DG and Cichlids?

IMO, no. Choose one or the other. DGs or DCs.
 
I don't know that you'll find anything appropriate that will predate fry for a 20.
 
I know for sure an angelfish would make a nice meal out of fry, but there will be debate over weather a 20g is too small for an angel.
I have one in my 36 bowfront, she's 5 years old and about 6" top to bottom and she keeps my Molly population in check for me :)

yeah idk, maybe 1 angel but my tanks only about 1.5 ' tall ( water line )
 
You don't need to measure it. I'm just saying that my tank is about that same height and my angel is fine, so the height shouldn't be an issue.
 
If I were you I would only go with 1, because getting a mated pair is a hassle, and if they're not a mated pair one may end up killing off the other.
